The broadcast

RuPaul Charles hosted 100 episodes of this VH1 talk show, including the "Ho Ho Ho ... A RuPaul Christmas Special". In the tradition of variety shows of the 1970s, RuPaul opened each episode by entering the stage through a high-pitched decorative entrance, walking down the catwalk, and singing a verse or two of a song. She was accompanied by two male dancers. Then RuPaul asked the audience how they liked their outfit, which was made by David Dalrymple or Mathu & Zaldy, among others, and showed them the front and back of their dress and then went to the couch for the conversation.

The show featured RuPaul interviewing various celebrities. In addition to interviews, the show included funny skits and reports.
