It is located in the autonomous community of Andalusia , in the province of Jaén , and is about 10 km from the city of Jaén . On January 1, 2019, Torredelcampo had 14,247 residents.
economy
The economy of Torredelcampo is based on agriculture, mainly on the production of olive oil , like the other communes in the province of Jaén. The construction sector, the repair of agricultural machinery and the construction and furniture joinery are also important.
There are more than 1,300,000 olive trees spread over 16,000 hectares in the municipality, producing between 8 and 10 million kg of olive oil per year.
