Trailsdorf is a Franconian village that belongs to Hallerndorf .

geography

The village , located in the natural landscape of the Regnitz valley, is one of nine officially named districts of the municipality of Hallerndorf in Upper Franconia . It is located about two kilometers northeast of the center of Hallerndorf at an altitude of 258  m above sea level. NHN . The Aisch flows past the southern outskirts of Trailsdorf just before it joins the Regnitz .

history

The first written mention of the place was in 1109 with the name "Drawelesdorf", the origin of the name and its meaning are unknown. By the beginning of the 19th century, Trailsdorf had formed a condominium of two territorial rulers. On the one hand, there was the rule of Pommersfelden , which belonged to the Counts of Schönborn , who were directly part of the empire . The second territorial power that was involved in the condominium was the Michelsberg Monastery , a media of the Bamberg Monastery . The dominant village and community rule in the Franconian region was exercised alternately by the two condominium partners. As a result of the administrative reforms carried out in the Kingdom of Bavaria at the beginning of the 19th century , Trailsdorf became an independent rural community with the Second Community Edict in 1818. In the course of the municipal reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, Trailsdorf was incorporated into the Hallerndorf community on May 1, 1978. In 1987 Trailsdorf had 567 inhabitants.
