Triesdorf Bahnhof (also spelled Triesdorf-Bahnhof ) is a district of the town of Merkendorf in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .
geography
Immediately north of the village flows the Braungartenbach, which splits into various streams after Merkendorf and flows together with other streams, which are all left tributaries of the Altmühl . The orphan's moat rises to the southeast of the village. The Birkholz borders in the south , about 0.5 km southwest is the Ochsenfeld , about 0.5 km southeast the Steigfeld .
Triesdorf Bahnhof is on Bundesstraße 13 . Communal roads lead to Neuses (1.5 km south) and Willendorf (0.3 km northwest). The place has a train station on the Treuchtlingen – Würzburg railway line , which is now served every hour by regional service.
history
The station was built in 1859 in the municipality of Großbreitenbronn . In 1928 a herb utilization cooperative was founded there. In the course of time, several companies settled here, as Triesdorf Bahnhof is conveniently located on the Treuchtlingen – Würzburg railway line . On May 1, 1978 Triesdorf Bahnhof was incorporated into Merkendorf as part of the regional reform .
In 2007 and 2008 the city of Merkendorf carried out the village renewal in the village .
