history

The monastery Heilsbronn acquired seven properties in the resort. Johannes von Muchiln , Probst in Bamberg , gave a farm as a gift . In 1274 goods were bought from Count Konrad von Oettingen . In 1282 Hermann Steiner gave further goods. The Teutonic Order also owned there ("1 hatch and 1 fiefdom"), as can be seen from the Salbuch of the Teutonic Order Commander Nuremberg from 1343 in the description of the Eschenbach office .

In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn Vogtamt Merkendorf from 1616, 3 farms, 2 half farms and 1 estate were specified for Kleinbreitenbronn, which were subordinate to the Merkendorf administration office. The other landlords are not listed. The Merkendorf administrator's office exercised community law and the shepherd's crook. The Fraisch held the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were nine subject families in Kleinbreitenbronn, eight of which were Ansbachian. At that time, the place already belonged to the Fraisch district of the Ansbach District Office . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Kleinbreitenbronn was assigned to the Großbreitenbronn tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Großbreitenbronn , which was founded a little later . On May 1, 1978 Kleinbreitenbronn was incorporated into Merkendorf.

There is a privately operated biogas plant in Kleinbreitenbronn .
