Tyler J. Andrew Walker (born October 17, 1996 in Nottingham ) is an English football player who has been under contract with the second division Nottingham Forest since 2014 . He is the son of longtime Nottingham Forest player and England defender Des Walker .

Career

Nottingham Forest

Tyler Walker, who comes from his own youth academy, made his debut on March 18, 2015 for English second division Nottingham Forest in a 2-0 home win over Rotherham United . On April 6, 2015, he scored the first goal for his home club in a 2-2 draw at Brentford FC .

On March 24, 2016, the young striker was loaned to the top of the third division Burton Albion until the end of the season.

At the end of January 2018, Walker was loaned to Bolton Wanderers until the end of the EFL Championship 2017/18 season. On June 29, 2018, another loan to the fourth division club Mansfield Town took place . For Mansfield he scored 22 goals in the EFL League Two 2018/19 and thus had a significant role in making it into the play-offs, in which the club failed prematurely.

At the beginning of the new season, Forest loaned him out for another year, this time to the third division club Lincoln City . Since Walker also demonstrated his accuracy with 14 league goals in the higher division and Forest needed reinforcements for his own attack, the club ended the loan early on January 30, 2020.
