Career

Nottingham Forest

Ryan Yates, who comes from the youth academy of his home club Nottingham Forest , made his debut on August 29, 2016 on loan for fifth division AFC Barrow in a 1-0 away win at North Ferriby United. The 19-year-old played 16 league games in the National League until mid-January 2017 , before Forest ended the loan early. On January 31, 2017, Forest loaned for the rest of the EFL League One 2016/17 to the third division club Shrewsbury Town , for whom he was used in twelve league games until the end of the season.

On August 4, 2017, Ryan Yates moved to Nottingham's in- city ​​rival Notts County on loan for the 2017-18 season .
