Lewis James Grabban (born January 12, 1988 in Croydon ) is a Jamaican football player. He is used as a striker, is 1.83 m and both feet. Since 2018 he has been under contract with the English second division club Nottingham Forest .

Career

The Jamaican Grabban, who was born in the London borough of Croydon , started out in the youth of Crystal Palace . There he received his first professional contract in 2005 and moved from the U18 to the first team. In 2006 Grabban was loaned to Oldham Athletic and played nine games before he was also on loan in the following season for Motherwell FC . In 2008 he moved permanently to Millwall FC , for which he played 56 games within two seasons, in which the striker scored nine goals. In the meantime, he was loaned twice for a few games to Brentford FC in early 2010 , and he finally moved permanently in the summer of 2010. After just one season, he came to Rotherham United in 2011 , from where he moved to AFC Bournemouth after 43 games and 18 goals in 2012 .

In 2014 he was awarded a three-year contract with Norwich City . However, in January 2016 he moved back to AFC Bournemouth for £ 7million.

On July 6, 2018, the English second division Nottingham Forest announced the signing of Lewis Grabban for a transfer fee of 6 million pounds sterling .
