Matthew "Matty" Cash (born August 7, 1997 in Slough , England ) is an English football player who is currently under contract with the second division Nottingham Forest .

Matty Cash, who moved to the youth academy in Nottingham Forest in October 2014, gained his first match experience with English fourth division club Dagenham & Redbridge , to which he moved on loan in early March 2016. His first appearance in the Football League Two 2015/16 he played on March 8, 2016 in a 0-0 win against Carlisle United . With three goals in twelve league games, the loan deal for Cash was personally successful, while the club from the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham relegated at the end of the season as penultimate from the Football League .

After convincing performances in the pre-season, Cash made his debut the day before his 19th birthday for Nottingham Forest in a 4-3 home win over Burton Albion on Matchday 1 of the 2016/17 EFL Championship . The day before, the attacking midfielder had extended his contract by three years.
