Administrative community Bismark / Kläden
In the administrative community of Bismark / Kläden of the district of Stendal , 20 communities were united to handle their administrative business. The administrative community was created on January 1, 2005 from the merger of the 13 municipalities of the dissolved administrative community Kläden and the 7 municipalities of the dissolved administrative community Bismark (Altmark) . The authority has its seat in the city of Bismark (Altmark) .
The administrative community Bismark / Kläden was in the west of the Stendal district and bordered on the Altmark district of Salzwedel . The area of the VG in the heart of the Altmark extended from the Milde in the west and north to the upper Uchte in the south. In the east, the area of the administrative community extended to within a few kilometers of the city of Stendal .
On January 1, 2010, the administrative community was dissolved. With the exception of Schinne , all member communities joined the unified community of Bismark (Altmark) . Schinne was temporarily co-administered by the city of Bismark until it was incorporated into Bismark.
9,877 inhabitants (June 30, 2006) lived in the administrative community of Bismark / Kläden on an area of 289.44 km². The last administrative manager was Verena Schluesselburg.
