history

Originally, Döllnitz was a church village and a manor suitable for the state assembly . The first written mention as Dolnitz comes from the year 1186, when the place was exchanged from the diocese of Havelberg to the diocese of Halberstadt. In the Landbuch der Mark Brandenburg from 1375 the place is listed as Dölnitz . Until 1578 the church was a branch of Poritz. In the 16th and 17th centuries there was a separate parish in the village. Their last pastor was Christian Samuel Stapel.

On July 1, 1910, the Döllnitz manor district was incorporated into the Döllnitz rural community.

On July 25, 1952, the community of Döllnitz from the district of Stendal was incorporated into the newly established district of Kalbe (Milde) . On May 23, 1973 the community Döllnitz was dissolved and incorporated into Bismark (Altmark). Since January 1, 2010, the Döllnitz district has also been part of the newly formed village of Bismark (Altmark).

Nearby was the large stone grave Döllnitz .
