Poritz is a district of the town of Bismark in the Stendal district in Saxony-Anhalt .

The Altmark street village Poritz located three kilometers west of Bismark at flea ditch that flows to the west into the river Milde, the few kilometers to the northeast along with the Lower clemency for piping is.

history

The first documentary mention comes from 1341 as to pordiz , when Heinrich and Fritz von Buzt left the peasants to bust wood and willow. In 1358 the village is mentioned as in villa porditze , when the squire Ditrich von Wultitz sold elevations from the village to citizens in Stendal. In the Landbuch der Mark Brandenburg from 1375 the place is listed as Portz .

Further mentions are 1427 in villa Portze , 1540 Portze , 1699 Poritz , 1687 Poertze and 1804 Poritz .

Incorporations

On 25 July 1952, the municipality Poritz was from the district of Stendal in the county Kalbe (Milde) reclassified. On December 21, 1973 Poritz was incorporated into the town of Bismark (Altmark) and has been part of the town since then.
