Uladzimir Michailawitsch Dsjanissau ( Belarusian Уладзімір Міхайлавіч Дзянісаў , Russian Владимир Михайлович Денисов / Vladimir Mikhailovich Denisov * 29. June 1984 in Navapolatsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player who, since February 2018 the Liiga at Saimaan Pallo under contract.
Career
Uladzimir Dzjanissau began his career as a hockey player in the junior division of HK Junost Minsk , for which he made his debut in the Belarusian extra league at the beginning of the 2001/02 season . The defender then moved to his league rivals HK Vitebsk , where he spent the following two years in the Extraliga and the East European Hockey League . After a season with Chimik Nawapolazk , Dzjanissau played for HK Keramin Minsk from 2004 to 2006 . During this period he worked for Keramin's city neighbors HK Junior Minsk and HK Dinamo Minsk .
For the 2006/07 season Dsjanissau moved to HK Lada Tolyatti from the Russian Super League . This was followed by two years with the Lake Erie Monsters and the Hartford Wolf Pack in the American Hockey League and the Johnstown Chiefs in the ECHL . For the 2009/10 season he returned to his Belarusian homeland, where he was obliged by his ex-club HK Dinamo Minsk from the Continental Hockey League . After the season he received no new contract, so he was initially without a club. In September 2010 he was signed by HC Ambrì-Piotta from the National League A due to several injuries in the team. A year later he returned to Dinamo Minsk.
In the summer of 2013 Dzjanissau first took part in the training camp of Salawat Yulayev Ufa , but could not recommend himself for a contract and moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod shortly after the start of the season . A year later he moved to Ak Bars Kazan within the KHL . He then played for two years for HK Traktor Chelyabinsk and again for Dinamo Minsk in the 2017/18 season. In February 2018 he moved to the Finnish Liiga to Saimaan Pallo .
International
For Belarus , Dzjanissau took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior B World Championship 2001 , the U18 Junior World Championship 2002 , the U20 Junior B World Championship in 2004 and the U20 Junior World Championship in 2003 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 World Championships and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver .
