Wilhelm Rincklake

Ludger Wilhelm Rincklake OSB (born June 9, 1851 in Münster as Aloysius Wilhelmus Henricus Rincklake ; † September 1927 in the Maria Laach Abbey ) was a German architect who joined the Maria Laach Benedictine Abbey in 1896 and then exclusively for his order and other ecclesiastical clients was active. He is one of the most important representatives of neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic in the sacred architecture of Westphalia .

Wilhelm Rincklake was born as the son of Caspar Rincklake and Bernhardine Rincklake. Bartels born. His older brother August Rincklake was also an architect and, after Wilhelm Rincklake joined the Benedictine order, continued his architectural office in Münster.
