Wolf Aniol

Wolf Aniol (* 1944 ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

Wolf Aniol received his training at the Max Reinhardt School for Drama in Berlin. His first engagement took him to the Landesbühne Hannover , from 1972 to 1979 he was under contract at the Cologne Theater . In Cologne he also had six years of baritone lessons at the University of Music and Dance . From 1974 he worked regularly with the Italian director Roberto Ciulli , with whom he and other artists founded the Mülheim Theater an der Ruhr in 1980 . Aniol, who has been working as a freelance worker since 1982, was and still is the theaters in Hamburg and Düsseldorf , the Berlin Schaubühne and the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg.

At the Schaubühne, Aniol played in plays such as Lulu by Frank Wedekind , Drei Schwestern by Anton Chekhov or Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida . At the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater he appeared a. a. as Richard Strauss in Ronald Harwood's piece Collaboration and embodied the character of Emil Janning in the stage adaptation of the US film The Judgment of Nuremberg . At the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus he could be seen alongside other productions in The Righteous by Albert Camus and Sean O'Casey's The End of the Beginning .

Wolf Aniol's work for radio is just as extensive as his stage work, where he has been heard as a speaker in over 100 productions to date. For television, however, he only works sporadically, u. a. he was seen in the crime series Tatort and Bella Block as well as in some series as a guest actor.
