qualification

Originally, five World Series of Darts tournaments should have been held in the course of 2020 . These would then have determined a ranking, through which eight players would have qualified. However, since all tournaments were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Danish Darts Masters were postponed to a date after the World Series of Darts Finals, the qualification mode has been adjusted.

20 of the 24 players were invited to the tournament by the PDC, including the top 8 of the PDC Order of Merit , which is set for the second round. The remaining 4 participants can qualify via a Tour Card Holder qualifier.

Attendees

The field of participants consisted of a total of 24 players.

  • The 8 best placed players of the PDC Order of Merit , who were all set and only intervened in the second round
  • The 12 players who received a wildcard from the PDC
  • The 4 players who achieved participation through a Tour Card qualification tournament

The eight players of the PDC Order of Merit were set and only intervened from the 2nd round onwards.
