Yacine Brahimi ( Arabic ياسين إبراهيمي, DMG Yāsīn Ibrāhīmī ; * February 8, 1990 in Paris , France ) is an Algerian soccer player under contract with al-Rayyan SC . He is also active for the Algerian national team . In addition to the playmaker's preferred position, it can also be used on the wings.

1997–2012: Beginnings in France
Yacine Brahimi grew up as the son of Algerian immigrants in Paris and began his career at the age of seven with the suburban club ASB Montreuil . After three years, he moved to CO Vincennois in 2000 . While he attended the sports boarding school in Clairefontaine between 2003 and 2006 , he played for Paris Saint-Germain from 2004 . In 2006 he moved to the youth department of Stade Rennes and was loaned to Clermont Foot three years later to get more match practice. At the beginning of 2013, he decided to play for the Algerian national team. He finally made his debut on March 26, 2013 in the World Cup qualifier against Benin .
