The ZIL-3250 , ( Russian ЗИЛ-3250 ), also known as ZIL-3250AO , is a minibus made by the Russian manufacturer Zavod imeni Lichacheva , or ZIL for short. It was produced from 1998 to around 2013 and was the first bus that ZIL produced again after a break of more than 35 years.

In 1997 ZIL was busy designing a successor to the completely outdated model ZIL-118 . These efforts finally culminated in the presentation and subsequent production of the ZIL-3250 minibus in 1998. Technically, it is based on the ZIL-5301 truck , which has been built since 1992. Different variants were offered over the production time, including shorter models with correspondingly fewer seats (referred to as ZIL-325010). Mainly the four-cylinder diesel engine MMS D-245.9E2 is installed, but engines from Renault and Caterpillar with similar outputs are also available.
One of the first major customers in 1999 was the Moscow passenger transport company Transagentstwo-T, which handles parts of the urban local transport with minibuses in the city.
The KAwZ-3244 is a very similar vehicle, which is also based on the ZIL-5301, but was produced by the Kurganski Avtobusny Sawod .
