Zalesie Kętrzyńskie ( German Hinzenhof ) is a village in Poland, which belongs to the rural community Kętrzyn ( Rastenburg ) in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
Zalesie Kętrzyńskie is located south of the road from Kętrzyn to Nakomiady and has largely fallen into disrepair as a village (the neighboring village of Poganowo - German place name: Groß-Bügersdorf - has even completely disappeared). Zalesie Kętrzyńskie enjoys a certain fame thanks to the Rastenburg Wappenberg (157 m). Right next to this hill, the path crosses the former - now overgrown - narrow-gauge railway line of the Rastenburger Kleinbahnen , which was continued by the Polish Railways after the Second World War. The line ran from Kętrzyn to Ryn until 1972 and had a stop at this point.
In 2009 Zalesie Kętrzyńskie had only one house, a few farm buildings and three allotments. One half of the house was used as a clubhouse for the local hunting club "Szarak", the other half was uninhabited.
