Muławki ( German Muhlack ) is a village in Poland in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . The village belongs to the powiat Kętrzyński in the rural municipality of Kętrzyn ( Rastenburg ). The village forms a Schulzenamt ( Sołectwo ) to which the localities Grabno ( Weitzdorf ) and Wymiary ( Georgenfelde ) belong.

Muławki is located in northeastern Poland, about three kilometers southwest of Kętrzyn . Wymiary is about one kilometer east, Grabno two kilometers west.
history
Muławki was founded in 1412 under Kulm law . The village had an area of 44 hooves . In 1817 there were 38 buildings in the village. In January 1945 the Red Army took the area and as a result of the war the area became part of Poland. In 1970 there was a four-class elementary school, a library point and a cinema for 40 people.

In a north-westerly direction through Muławki the Voivodeship Road 591 ( droga wojewódzka 591 ). In the north it leads after about three kilometers through Kętrzyn and ends after about 30 kilometers at the border with the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . There is no border crossing. In the south, the road opens after about 20 kilometers in Mrągowo in the national road 59 ( droga krajowa 59 ).
The village does not have its own rail connection. The nearest train station is in Kętrzyn. From there the PKP offers direct connections to Olsztyn and Poznan .
The geographically closest international airport is Kaliningrad Airport , which is located about 100 kilometers to the northwest on Russian territory. The nearest international airport on Polish territory is Lech Wałęsa Airport, Gdansk, about 190 kilometers to the west .
