Črenšovci ( Hungarian Cserföld ) is a small municipality in Slovenia in the northeast region of Prekmurje .
geography
location
The municipality is located in Dolinsko , the flat landscape between the rivers Mur and Ledava in the historic Prekmurje region ( Übermurgebiet ) directly on the border with Croatia and about 10 km from the Hungarian border. The nearest larger towns are Murska Sobota (14 miles as the crow flies), Maribor (50 km) and Čakovec in Croatia (23 km). In the southwest the Mur forms the municipal boundary.
