The 1965/66 season was the ninth season of the 1st division , the highest Danish ice hockey division . Champion was for the seventh time in the history of the KSF Copenhagen club .

In the main round, each of the seven teams played a total of twelve games. The first place in the main round was champion. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat.
