Roman Empire
- Imperial crisis of the 3rd century in the Roman Empire : the Imperium Galliarum reaches its greatest expansion.
Empire of China
- Time of the Three Kingdoms : Spring: The Wei Dynasty begins an attack on the Chinese sub - kingdom Shu Han , which has been making the common border unsafe for years. Two armies under Zhong Hui and Deng Ai invade the empire, but its defenders under Jiang Wei initially hold out.
- The residents of the Wu command centers Jiaozhi, Jiuzhen and Rinan (now in northern Vietnam) rise up against the rule of Commander Sun Xu. The uprising is supported by the Wei Dynasty.
