- Time of the Three Kingdoms : In Shu Han , conquered by the Chinese Wei dynasty , Wei general Zhong Hui allies with Shu Jiang Wei to kill General Deng Ai in the occupied capital and reinstate the emperor. However, he succeeds in evading the attempted murder and executing Zhong Hui and Jiang Wei. For fear of revenge actions against the other conspirators, they subsequently kill Deng Ai. Nevertheless, the entire area of the Shu belongs to the Wei dynasty.
- The Wei Dynasty court administrator, Sima Zhao , is named Prince of Jin. It is the last step before he finally seizes power.
- Summer: Wu Emperor Sun Xiu falls ill and writes an edict that Puyang Xing appoints as regent for his underage crown prince. Shortly thereafter, he died in Jianye at the age of 29. Puyang Xing does not obey the deceased emperor's edict, but has the already grown-up Sun Hao appointed emperor.
- The increasingly suspicious and superstitious Emperor Sun Hao has Puyang Xing and Zhang Bu arrested and executed with their families.
