ACH Volley Ljubljana is a men's volleyball club from Ljubljana in Slovenia . Up until the 2010/11 season, Bled, 50 km northwest of Ljubljana, was the home of ACH Volley.

ACH Volley has been the most successful men's team in Slovenian volleyball since 2000. Internationally, ACH Volley plays in the Central European League MEVZA , which has been won eight times, and since 2007 in the Volleyball Champions League .

Awards

The club's organizing committee won several awards for its work:

  • IABC - International Association of Business Communicators from San Francisco, California, USA, gave the volleyball club a special award, the 2006 Golden Quill Merit Award, for strategic communication.
  • ACH Volley was awarded the highest award by the Association of Slovenian Sports Journalists Best Team 2007 for promoting volleyball in Slovenia.
  • CEV awarded ACH Volley the prestige prize, IEC Press Award for the best PR work in the 2007/08 Champions League season. The club also won the 2008 SPORTO Prize at the annual sports marketing and sponsorship conference in Portorož.
  • In 2010, the volleyball club won the 2010 SPORT award for the most recognizable brand among Slovenian clubs, as the Mediana study showed. The club won the award again in 2011.
