The A Grupa 1950 was the 26th season of the highest Bulgarian football league . Champion became defending champion DSO Dinamo Sofia .

On August 27, 1949, the sports structure in Bulgaria was reorganized by the communist system and the clubs were incorporated into voluntary sports organizations ( Bulgarian : DSO).

mode

Ten teams played against each other twice on a total of 18 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. The game was played from spring to autumn. The last two teams were relegated to the B Grupa .
