The A Grupa 1967/68 was the 44th season of the highest Bulgarian football league . The season began on August 12, 1967 and ended on July 7, 1968. Champion was Levski Sofia .
Before the start of the season, Spartak Plovdiv merged with Botew Plovdiv and Akademik Plovdiv to form AFD Trakia Plovdiv. The vacated space was given to Mariza Plovdiv. The champions and cup winners withdrew their participation in the European Cup in protest because of the new UEFA draw.

The 16 teams played against each other twice on a total of 30 match days, divided into a first and a second round. At the end of the season, the two bottom of the table were relegated to the B Grupa .
