The Advance Publications, Inc. is an American published media company based in New York City, the newspapers and magazines.

Organization and history

The company is owned by the Newhouse family and is one of the fifty largest privately held companies in the United States.

In 2007, Advance Publications had 29,100 employees, at the end of 2013 it was around 25,000.

In March 2020, Advance Publications bought the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC: organizer and holder of the rights to the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 brands ) from the Chinese Wanda Group for US $ 730 million .
