Affton is located in the southwestern suburb of St. Louis about three kilometers west of the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois . Affton is at 38 ° 33'02 "north latitude and 90 ° 19'59" west longitude. Affton extends over 11.9 km² and is located in the Concord Township .
Places immediately bordering Affton are Marlborough in the north, Wilbur Park and Bella Villa in the east, Lemay in the southeast, Green Park in the southwest and Lakeshire and Grantwood Village in the west. The center of the city of St. Louis is 19 km northeast.
