Ladue is an affluent suburban community of US -amerikanischen metropolitan St. Louis in St. Louis County in the state of Missouri .
Ladue has the highest per capita income in municipalities over 1,000 in the state of Missouri and one of the highest in the entire United States.

Ladue lies at 38 ° 38'13 "north latitude and 90 ° 22'54" west longitude. It extends over 22.3 km² and is located around 20 km west of the city center of St. Louis. The Interstate 64 , the Interstate 170 in east-west direction and the US Highway 67 in the north-south run through. To the southeast of Ladue, US Highway 61 turns west onto Interstate 64 .
Demographic data
In the 2000 census, the population was 8645. These were distributed with 2598 families in 3414 households. The population density was almost 388.0 / km². 3557 buildings result in a density of 159.9 / km².
The population in 2000 was 96.83% white , 0.88% African American , 0.10% American Indian , 0.49% Asian and 1.7% other. 0.45% of people said they came from at least two of these groups, while 0.78% were Hispanics from several of these groups.
Ladue is the most educated place in Missouri. 74.5% of the adult population have at least a college degree and 71.8% have a bachelor's degree .
24.5% were under 18 years of age, 3.5% between 18 and 24, 16.9% between 25 and 44, 32.2% between 45 and 65, 22.8% over 65. The average age was 48 years . For every 100 women (of all ages) there were 91.2 men, for every 100 over 18 year olds there were 88.4 men in this age group.

Ladue is home to two of the most prestigious private high schools in the St. Louis area, the John Burroughs School and the Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School .
