Creve Coeur is a city (with the status " City ") in St. Louis County in the US -amerikanischen State Missouri and part of the metropolitan region of Greater St. Louis . In 2010 Creve Coeur had a population of 17,833.

Creve Coeur is located in the western suburbs of St. Louis at 38 ° 40 ' N , 90 ° 25' W and extends over 26.2 km². The city is about four kilometers east of the Missouri River ; the Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois , is about 20 km east of Creve Coeur.
The city is largely located in the Creve Coeur Township , but also extends into the Missouri River and Maryland Heights Township .
Adjacent locations to Creve Coeur are Maryland Heights to the north, Overland to the northeast, Olivette to the east, Ladue and Frontenac to the southeast, Town and Country to the south, and Chesterfield to the west. The center of the city of St. Louis is 14 miles east.

Interstate 270 , the St. Louis bypass, runs through the center of Creve Coeur in a north-south direction . At the same time, US Highway 67 runs through the west of the city. Missouri State Route 340 forms the northern outskirts of the city . All other roads are inner-city connections.
