The winner Marie-Josée Ta Lou (2016) at the Olympic Games

The women's 100-meter run at the 2019 African Games took place on August 26th and 27th at the Stade Moulay Abdallah in Rabat .

44 female sprinters from 27 countries took part in the competition. Marie-Josée Ta Lou won the gold medal with 11.09 s, silver went to Gina Bass with 11.13 s and the bronze medal went to Bassant Hemida with 11.31 s.
