Aksu ( Turkish for white water ), (Kurd. Gagewran ) is a village in the district of Yüksekova in the Turkish province of Hakkâri . Aksu is located in the far south - east of Turkey at an altitude of 1855 m above sea level, about 7 km southwest of Yüksekova.

In 2009 there were 502 people in 70 households in Aksu. The village has a mosque and a primary school. Yüksekova Airport has been under construction near the village since July 2010 .

In the area around Aksu there are clashes between PKK fighters and Turkish security forces.
