Watersheds
The main Alpine ridge runs through the group in the south from the Septimer (Rhine-Po) to the Malojapass (Danube-Po). In between lies the Lunghin Pass , a triple point where the Rhine-Danube watershed (in the area of this group between the Hinterrhein and Inn) branches off to the Julier Pass. From there the water reaches the North Sea, the Black Sea or the Mediterranean (here Adriatic).
