The Albula Alps are part of the Rhaetian Alps in Eastern Switzerland . The mountain range extends north of the Inn between the Septimerpass and the Flüelapass . The highest peak is Piz Kesch ( 3418  m above sea level ).

The Julier Pass and Albula Pass lead over the Albula Alps . The mountain range is crossed by the Albula Railway .

Watersheds

The main Alpine ridge runs through the group in the south from the Septimer (Rhine-Po) to the Malojapass (Danube-Po). In between lies the Lunghin Pass , a triple point where the Rhine-Danube watershed (in the area of ​​this group between the Hinterrhein and Inn) branches off to the Julier Pass. From there the water reaches the North Sea, the Black Sea or the Mediterranean (here Adriatic).
