Alex Iwobi (born May 3, 1996 in Lagos ) is a Nigerian football player who plays for Everton in the Premier League .
Career
He made his Premier League debut on October 31, 2015 against Swansea City .
Iwobi began his national team career in the youth teams of the FA . In 2015 Iwobi made his debut in the Nigerian national team . He was part of the Nigerian squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where Nigeria was eliminated as third in Group D in the group stage. Iwobi played in the defeat against Croatia from the start and came on as a substitute in the defeat against Argentina and the win against Iceland .

Iwobi is the nephew of Jay-Jay Okocha .
