Moise Kean Bioty (born February 28, 2000 in Vercelli ) is an Italian football player . The striker is under contract with Everton .

Career

Moise Kean has Ivorian roots and has played in the youth academy of the Italian record champions Juventus Turin since 2011 . Because of his playing position, his technique, his speed, his goal instinct and his African roots, he is often compared to Mario Balotelli . Like Balotelli, he is advised by Mino Raiola .

On November 19, 2016, Kean made his Serie A debut under coach Massimiliano Allegri at the age of 16 years, 8 months and 20 days . He was substituted on in the 84th minute for Mario Mandžukić in the 3-0 home win against Delfino Pescara in 1936 , making him the youngest Juventus player in Serie A history and the first ever player to be born in Italy's top division in 2000 and later. On November 22nd, three days after his Serie A debut, he was substituted on again in the Champions League match against Sevilla FC , making him the first player to be used in this competition to be born in 2000 or later.

Moise Kean scored his first goal as a professional on May 27, 2017. In the 2-1 away win in the last Serie A game in 2016/17 at FC Bologna , he scored the winning goal in stoppage time after being substituted on for Paulo Dybala in the 79th minute . This makes Kean the first goalscorer born in 2000 and later in Serie A history.

In August 2017, Kean extended his contract with Juventus until June 30, 2020. He was then loaned to Serie A club Hellas Verona for a year .

For the 2019/20 season, Kean moved to the Premier League for Everton , where he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2024. The transfer fee amounted to approx. 27.5 million euros, although bonus payments could increase this to up to 30 million euros.
