history
The Stettiner Land Regiment was set up in 1729 by King Friedrich Wilhelm I as Stettin's Garrison Regiment . Originally seven Musketeer - companies stated it was in 1735 to nine companies regulated. Frederick II took over the land regiment largely unchanged. In 1758 the regiment was supplemented by two grenadier companies, which, however, were immediately transferred to the " Ingersleben " grenadier battalion . In 1788 the Stettiner Land Regiment was dissolved.

Organization, strength and use
Without exception, the team ranks were regarded as unpaid and permanently on leave. Most of the year they stayed in their hometowns, only once a year they were drawn together for 14 days to drill in Szczecin. During this time they received pay , and also when they were used on other occasions. The officers , NCOs and Tambours were on duty all year round, but were permanently on half pay. The determination of the troops was a second contingent, which was mainly due to the fact that it consisted largely of soldiers and officers who were no longer able to be used in the field, disabled , retired or transferred to prison. The land regiment was the last listed among the Pomeranian troops and was only to appear locally defensive in exceptional cases in times of war.
Fighting
The Szczecin Land Regiment was involved in combat operations with the Swedish Army during the Seven Years' War in 1757 . So on September 13th at the Anklam Fährschanze , in Anklam itself and in Demmin . Also on September 13th the fighting started at the Peenemünder Schanze , which lasted until September 23rd. On September 14th, the regiment fought at the Swinemünder Schanze .

The uniform was characterized by black open lapels and collars and dark blue undergarments.
