Amanda Stevens (born March 4, 1977 in Enid ) is a former American triathlete . She is the Ironman winner (2013) and is included in the best list of American triathletes on the Ironman distance .

Career

Amanda Stevens studied medicine in Oklahoma.

In 2001 she started her first triathlon competition and since 2003 she has been active as a triathlon professional.
In 2008 she missed qualifying for a starting place at the Beijing Olympics .

At the Ironman 70.3 World Championship she was tenth in 2008, eighth in 2009 and fourth in 2010.
In November 2010, Dr. Amanda Stevens in Mexico for the first time on the Ironman distance and she took third place.

Ironman 2013 winner

In May 2013 she won the Ironman race in Florianópolis. It has not appeared internationally since 2016.

Amanda Stevens has been married since summer 2010 and she lives in Colorado Springs .
