Amphoe Kut Khaopun ( Thai : อำเภอ กุดข้าวปุ้น ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the Ubon Ratchathani Province . The province of Ubon Ratchathani is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Adjacent counties (northeast-clockwise) the Amphoe Khemarat , Pho Sai and Trakan Phuet Phon Ubon Ratchathani province, and Amphoe Pathum Ratchawongsa the province Amnat Charoen .

history

The "Branch Circle" ( King Amphoe ) Kut Khaopun was formed on July 12, 1971 from the four Tambon Khaopun, Ka Bin, Kaeng Kheng and Non Sawang, which were separated from Trakan Phuet Phon County . On March 25, 1979, he received full amphoe status.
