Amphoe Trakan Phuet Phon ( Thai : อำเภอ ตระการพืชผล ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the Ubon Ratchathani Province . The province of Ubon Ratchathani is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Adjacent counties (northeast-clockwise) the Amphoe Kut Khaopun , Pho Sai , Si Mueang Mai , Tan Sum , Don Mot Daeng and Lao Suea Kok Ubon Ratchathani province, and the Amphoe Pathum Ratchawongsa and Phana the province Amnat Charoen .
history
The district goes back to Mueang Phana Nikhon ( พนา นิคม ), which was subordinate to the Mueang Ubon Ratchathani. Since the administration was in Ban Khulu, the district was renamed Khulu in 1917. In 1939 the name was changed again, this time to the historical Phana Nikhom, and the following year it got its current name.

- Trakan Phuet Phon (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ตระการพืชผล ) consists of the entire Tambon Khu Lu and parts of the Tambon Kham Charoen.
