Andrius Palionis

Andrius Palionis (born June 5, 1975 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian social democratic politician , since August 20, 2019 Lithuania's Minister of Agriculture , until 2019 a member of the municipality of Kaunas .

Life

His mother is Julija Palionienė, director of UAB “Ginvesta”. His father was Juozas Palionis (1950-2011), a member of the Seimas .

After graduating from the Šeškinė Middle School in Vilnius in 1993 , Andrius Palionis completed a bachelor's degree in accounting and auditing at the Vilniaus universitetas in 1998 . From 1994 to 1995 he worked as a specialist in the Statistics Department of Lithuania, from 1995 to 1996 at Lietuvos akcinis inovacinis bankas , from 1996 to 2000 at AB bankas “Hermis”, from 2000 to 2001 AB bankas SEB bankas , from 2001 as a financier at UAB “Ginvesta “And from 2006 to 2012 at UAB BTN as director. From 2012 he was a member of the Seimas and in 2019 a member of the Kaunas City Council.

Andrius Palionis is a member of Vieningas Kaunas .

Andrius Palionis is married. He and his wife Kristina have daughters Monika and Emilija.
