The Evangelical Apostle Andrew's Church ( designed by Paul Poser , is at the Slasher street corner 46 Eichhorster way in Berlin district Märkisches quarter of the district Reinickendorf .

The church was built as a community home in 1936–1937 and named after Adolf Stoecker . It originally belonged to the parish of the Wittenau village church and was taken over in 1963 by the Apostle Petrus parish . After this congregation was divided in 1969, the newly founded congregation received the congregation home as a church. She chose the apostle Andrew to be her namesake . In 2001, the former parishes of Apostle Andreas and In den Rollbergen became the evangelical rock parish. She kept both preaching sites, the Rollberge community center at Titiseestraße 7 and the church at Eichhorster Weg 56.
Building description
The single-storey building complex is divided into two building wings arranged at right angles to each other . It is based in the architectural style of the massive houses of the settlement New Era in the neighborhood. The masonry is plastered . The building is typical for the genre, although the community homes of the 1930s, by its bell tower with gable roof and simple sound arcades , the left side of the gable is, it is but urban easy to recognize as a church. In the belfry hangs a ring made of two bronze bells :

The hall church , covered on the outside with a gable roof, on the inside with a flat ceiling made of wood, has five window axes and a retracted choir . She received the principles from 1951 . The sculptor Groß created the altar with carved symbols and a crucifix , the relief on the pulpit and the baptismal font . The silver implements for the communion service come from the goldsmith Riffelmacher, the altar candlesticks from the blacksmith Fritz Kühn . The twelve segment-arched glass windows were manufactured at Puhl & Wagner's designs by Margarethe Grosser .
