The 19th Australasian Championships were a tennis grass court tournament in the Grand Slam class , which was organized by the ILTF . It took place from January 23 to February 2, 1926 in Adelaide , Australia .
The defending champions in the singles were James Anderson in the men and Daphne Akhurst in the women. In the men's doubles Pat O'Hara Wood and Gerald Patterson were the defending champions , in the women's doubles Sylvia Harper and Daphne Akhurst. In mixed, Daphne Akhust and James Willard were the defending champions.
