Bärensprung is an inhabited part of the community in the Dannenwalde district of the non-governmental community Gumtow in the Prignitz district in Brandenburg .

geography

The place is two kilometers south of Dannenwalde and three kilometers north of Gumtow. The neighboring towns are Dannenwalde in the north, Kolrep expansion in the northeast, Heinzhof in the southeast, Gumtow in the south, Zarenthin in the southwest, Zarenthin expansion in the west and Friedheim in the northwest.

history

Before June 30, 2002, Bärensprung was part of the community of Dannenwalde, which was then part of the Gumtow district. Through the merger of Dannenwalde and 15 other communities to form today's community of Gumtow, the place became an inhabited part of the community in the Dannenwalde district.
