Bühl is about six kilometers south of Ottobeuren. The place is connected to the main town by the state road St 2011 . To the north is the Bühler Forest.

history

Bühl was the seat of a family of Ottobeur servants. Between 1180 and 1228 it was reported by Konrad de Buhilo and Hailwei von Byl. In 1564 43 inhabitants were mentioned. The number of inhabitants decreased to 18 in 2 properties with 3 fireplaces by 1811. Today the hamlet consists of 3 farms.
