The BSP Business School Berlin - University of Management is a state-recognized, private university for management with locations in Berlin and Hamburg . It was officially recognized by the Brandenburg Ministry for Science, Research and Culture (MWFK) in December 2009 and began studying at the beginning of 2010. The courses offered by the BSP are based on three subject-specific pillars: Business Administration, Management & Communication, Business Psychology and Creative Business. In the focus on business administration, management & communication, business efficiency and communicative and behavioral psychological skills are integrated. In the focus on business psychology, a cultural psychological-depth psychological orientation is combined with quantitative methods. The focus on creative business combines the scientific core competencies in management and business administration with an understanding of the dynamic and innovative processes of the creative industries.

history

The university was founded as the Business School Potsdam (BSP) in the rooms of the Garde-Ulanen barracks in the Potsdamer Jägerallee . After having had its headquarters in the nearby Villa Henckel for a good two years since 2010, it has been located in the historic Correns mansion (Siemensvilla) in Berlin-Lankwitz since the end of 2012 . A second BSP campus has been located in Hamburg's HafenCity since November 2013 . In spring 2015, the university was renamed BSP Business School Berlin.

The managing partner of BSP is the entrepreneur Ilona Renken-Olthoff. The rector is the media and communication scientist Thomas Thiessen. The sister universities of the BSP are the MSH Medical School Hamburg and the MSB Medical School Berlin .
