World Bandy Championship 1961

The second Bandy World Cup was on 22. February bis 26. February 1961 in Norway held.

Host Norway started at a World Bandy Championship for the first time. Finland, Sweden and the defending champion Soviet Union also played for the World Cup.

The world championship was played in a group system. The six matches were spread over three game days, on each of which two games were played. There was a day of rest between each game day.

The game was played in the five cities of Porsgrunn , Stabekk , Mjøndalen , Oslo and Drammen .
