The 19th Bandy World Cup was on 29. January bis 5. February 1995 in the US Roseville , Minnesota held. Sweden won the final 6-4 against Russia.
It was the first World Cup that was not held in Norway , Sweden , Finland or Russia or in the Soviet Union .
With Kazakhstan , another team made their world championship debut. But the national team of the Netherlands was missing.
Game mode
The eight teams were classified according to their strength in an A and a B group. The first two of the A group automatically qualified for the semi-finals. The third and fourth of group A had to play a game against the first and second of group B, the winner of which would also qualify for the semifinals.
Another innovation was the penalty shoot-out, which found a winner after a draw. In the preliminary round, the game was still rated with one point for both teams.

The venue was the Guidant John Rose Minnesota Oval in Roseville (Minnesota) , which was to be the venue for the 2006 Women's World Cup .
