The 35th Bandy World Championship took place from February 1st, 2015 to February 6th, 2015, for the teams of Group B in Khabarovsk , Russia . The teams in Group A played from March 29, 2015 to April 4, 2015.

After the Bandy World Championship in 1981, Khabarovsk is the second time the venue for the Bandy World Championship. Other candidates for the tournament were Minsk in Belarus and Helsinki in Finland, with Minsk withdrawing its candidacy in August 2013. There are 16 participating nations (Latvia plays in both groups), divided into group A and group B, which is again divided into a subgroup A and B. The announced Switzerland will not take part.
